2018 Fundraising Committee at the ¨Bollywood Nights¨ scholarship fundraiser
The fundraising committee at CVIS is separate from the APO, but we also rely on parent volunteers and any work done counts towards family volunteer hours.
The fundraising committee focuses on raising large dollar funds for our Adopt A Scholar scholarship program (many local families receive full and partial scholarships to attend CVIS) and special programs and improvements at Colegio Costa Verde. Each year we typically have a sit down dinner in November, a large party with a theme in February with auction, dinner and dancing; and a school wide Share A Thon/Surf A Thon event in May. Additionally we hold online auctions, submit grant applications and make specific targeted corporate or individual donation asks.
We are always looking for new members to help with overall fundraising strategy and execution as well as event planning and execution.

El comité de recaudación de fondos en CVIS es independiente del APO, pero también contamos con padres voluntarios y cualquier trabajo realizado cuenta para las horas de voluntariado familiar.
El comité de recaudación de fondos se enfoca en recaudar grandes fondos en dólares para nuestro programa de becas Adopt A Scholar (muchas familias locales reciben becas totales y parciales para asistir a CVIS) y programas especiales y mejoras en el Colegio Costa Verde. Cada año solemos tener una cena en noviembre, una gran fiesta con un tema en febrero con subasta, cena y baile; y un evento Share A Thon / Surf A Thon en toda la escuela en mayo. Además, realizamos subastas en línea, enviamos solicitudes de subvenciones y realizamos solicitudes específicas de donaciones corporativas o individuales.
Siempre estamos buscando nuevos miembros para ayudar con la estrategia y ejecución general de recaudación de fondos, así como con la planificación y ejecución de eventos.
