How Can You Help?

Sayulita is a premiere destination for weddings, reunions and vacations for people from all over the world. But, the guests who come to Sayulita are a little different than the lounge at a resort types (not that there is anything wrong with that!), many guests who visit Sayulita also want to give back to the community. CVIS gets inquires regularly asking what wedding parties or other guests can do to help CVIS. Here is a guide to make it easy for you to support the children of Sayulita with your time, energy and $.

Adopt A Scholar

The scholarship program is designed to provide increased access for local children who are in need of financial assistance, thereby creating a more diverse student population. A socioeconomic study is done by an outside reviewer, and the family comes to an agreement with the school about how much they can participate in the financial support of the student. Financial support is given at the 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% rates. Teachers and administration follow up with the student’s academic and social commitment to the school as well as the family´s financial commitment. Students who receive a scholarship are expected to uphold the values of the
school as well as a passing academic grade. All parents of Costa Verde are also asked to give a minimum number of volunteer hours back to the school.

ADOPTION AMOUNTS RANGE FROM $1500USD — $5500USD.
